Premier League teams will be wary of facing Rangers in the Europa League this season, talkSPORT has been told.
Steven Gerrard’s side have blown away the competition in the Scottish Premiership and look set to finally end Celtic’s near decade-long dominance.
The Gers are 15 points clear and are yet to be beaten as they march towards the title.
They also have a chance to put a good run together in Europe with their round of 32 clash against Royal Antwerp finely poised after the first leg.
A dramatic game in Belgium ended 4-3 to Gerrard’s side thanks to a last-minute penalty.
The match saw three penalties in total as well as a late red card for the home side.

Manchester United, Tottenham, Leicester and Arsenal are the Premier League sides still in the competition and could draw the Scottish club should they reach the next round.
talkSPORT host Jason Cundy admitted he’d love to see Rangers play one of the English teams.
“Their performances, not just in Scotland, but their performances in Europe have been truly astonishing,” Cundy said.

“They conceded a penalty just on half-time, it’s one of the weakest penalties you will see, but in the modern game now any contact on the ankle they’ll go down and get the penalty.
“It’s another brilliant result. English clubs will be looking at them and be thinking ‘I’d rather avoid them right now’.
“I’d love to see Rangers up against a Premier League side and knock them out.”
